UPPER AND LININGThe upper is made of suede with microfibre inserts to ensure a boot that is both lightweight yet super sturdy. Lightness and protection are the stand-out features of Grand Tour GTX. The rubber toecap and lateral rands are bonded directly to the upper to guarantee unrivalled protection from rough ground throughout the centre and front part of the foot, whilst also significantly reducing boot weight.Insulation from the elements is guaranteed by the Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane and good ankle anchoring is assured thanks to Kayland's Ankle Lock System which helps prevent any unnatural movements. FITThe fit is soft and snug, and further enhanced by the lycra collar that cradles the foot without exerting pressure points on the ankle. Boot closure is easy and comfortable, thanks to the use of eyestays that hug the ball and instep of the foot.Available in men's and women's versions.

REVOLT GTX BLACK-DARK GREY

Kayland's new low-cut shoe, designed for fast hikes at medium altitudes on varied terrain. Lightweight and protective, Revolt features a suede upper and synthetic inserts. The real innovation of the shoe is the direct lamination of the Gore-Tex Invisible Fit membrane onto the upper: Revolt is the first shoe ever to have this process integrated into the leather. Direct lamination ensures that all creases and wrinkles are eliminated, thus reducing pressure points and ensuring a perfect fit. The construction technique helps reduce shoe weight, cut down water absorption and speed up drying times. The lacing system comprises a webbing of laces that tighten the upper to provide enhanced comfort and precision. The EVA midsole and Vibram® Megagrip outsole make Revolt an ideal shoe for using even on approaches, thanks to the tread pattern designed specifically for varied terrain, with maximum grip on the heel and large toe area to ensure safety when climbing. Excellent ankle supported is provide by Kayland's Ankle Lock System which ensures totally natural movement.

K4 GTX

K4 is the technical boot for high-altitude mountaineering, ideal for tackling terrain and ice at altitudes of up to 4000 m characterised by a particularly harsh climate. Thanks to its full crampon compatibility, it is ideal for crossing glaciers and ice climbing. The K4 GTX is highly durable, equipped with the most innovative thermal and component technologies in the Kayland range. UPPERA new striking graphic accompanies the high technicality of this shoe. The completely renewed design with a new pattern recalls the style of other models in the range, for an unmistakable stylistic continuity with the new logo and pictogram evident on both sides. The fascia surrounding the boot and the toe box are made externally with Diamond Technology. This exclusive polyurethane component provides an unprecedented degree of abrasion resistance and a wider surface area for greater protection. The inner surface of the boot has also been implemented by adding rubber to ensure greater protection of the foot and shoe from the wear and tear of crampon use. Protective gaiters and Easy Zip waterproof closure. LININGA Gore-Tex® Duratherm lining, one of the most thermally insulating liners in the Gore range, has been added internally. The lining is perfect for protecting the feet even in the coldest temperatures, maintaining the impermeability and the breathability of the foot while raising the comfort level inside the shoe.SOLEAn accentuated arch support to ensure greater braking of the shoe when descending and for better grip on rocks. The Vibram® Teton sole has a specific design for mountaineering and ice climbing: the full zones on the toe and heel provide greater grip and increase safety, while the grippy compound maintains a high level of grip in all conditions and on all surfaces. MIDSOLE AND INSOLEThe polyurethane outsole block also wears the institutional colours with a two-tone design. The rear heel for crampon insertion has been set and glued into the midsole to ensure a more secure and stable grip. The mounting footbed is made of fibreglass with aluminium foil to ensure maximum rigidity, especially when used with crampons. The midsole features an exclusive technology, thanks to the Smart PU component, a polyurethane compound capable of reacting to changes in temperature: it hardens in the heel area in colder temperatures and softens in milder weather to facilitate cushioning when walking. LACING SYSTEMThe K4 GTX offers a new lacing system with maximum adjustment according to the intended use. The tongue features an overlap closure, with a single gusset to ensure total foot wrapping. In addition to this there are 3 levels of closure: a lace puller, which offers the possibility of tightening the laces and keeping the fit anatomically constant, an intermediate level with the lace closure and finally at the top, the Velcro and microfibre strap. The outer protective polyamide gaiter has a waterproof closure system with a heat-sealed zip.

To ensure maximum protection and durability, a polyurethane band has been added to the lower part of the upper, surrounding it without weighing down the shoe. The toe cap is made of rubber for extra protection.
